Terms & Conditions.

We look forward to training with you! Please read the following terms and conditions of personal training sessions and packages (sessions, services, bookings) and raise any questions before booking your first session with us. By booking a session with Fettle & Fit, you agree you have read, understood and accepted the following terms and conditions.

  1. Prepayment of your personal training sessions, packages and workshops

    1. Payment for personal training sessions and packages (individual or group) must be made before any training session or workshop takes place.

    2. Sessions (both individual and packages) must be used within 6 months from the date of purchase.

    3. We will review session, package and workshop prices periodically and may change them from time to time. We will give you reasonable notice and display upcoming changes in your client portal, on our website and through your communication preferences.

  2. Discount vouchers or codes

    1. Fettle & Fit may offer discount vouchers or codes from time to time. Fettle & Fit reserves the right to set terms and conditions specific to these vouchers or codes and/or discontinue these vouchers or codes.

    2. We will review any discount vouchers or codes periodically and may change them from time to time. We will give you reasonable notice of any upcoming changes.

  3. Gift cards

    1. Gift cards may be available for purchase from Fettle & Fit from time to time. These gift cards can be used towards sessions, packages or workshops for 12 months from the date of purchase. Any outstanding balance will need to be paid before the session begins.

    2. While we will do our best to accommodate a gift card recipient’s preferred time and location for sessions, bookings are subject to availability.

    3. Gift card recipients will be considered a new client of Fettle & Fit. Gift card recipients will need to complete an initial client form and seek medical clearance (if necessary) before a session begins. All of the Terms and Conditions for Fettle & Fit apply.

    4. Gift cards can only be used by recipients ages 18+, as Fettle & Fit does not currently train clients younger than 18.

    5. Gift cards are non-refundable and should be treated like cash; we will honour the gift card that is presented to us by a recipient. Unused gift cards (and gift cards with some credit remaining) are non-refundable but can be transferred to another client within 12 months of the date of purchase.

    6. Once a session, package or workshop has been booked using a gift card, our general cancellation & rescheduling Terms & Conditions apply (see below).

  4. Your health and safety

    1. Your health and safety is important to us. Exercising may be strenuous and may involve risk of injury or death, and you exercise at your own risk. Please monitor your physical condition at all times and exercise to a level appropriate based on your own knowledge of your health and any medical advice.

    2. If you have any known medical or health conditions or have had a recent injury, pregnancy or other condition that may impact your capacity to take part in active or passive exercise, it is your responsibility to seek medical clearance and provide written advice on any restrictions or cautions to your trainer.

    3. If you have any health concerns before, or arising during training with Fettle & Fit, your trainer may request that you obtain medical clearance and/or advice from health professionals, and may decline your booking if medical clearance is not provided. You understand and agree that your trainer cannot diagnose or prescribe treatment for injury, disease or other medical problems, or assess whether you are able to safely exercise.

    4. You agree to follow any guidance or restrictions from your medical professional(s).

    5. If you experience any pain, discomfort or injury during any of your sessions, please inform your trainer immediately.

    6. We will ensure that the services that we provide to you are provided with the due care and skill required by professional fitness registration guidelines and under the law. In the course of exercising, or as the result of the provision of our services, we will not be liable if you are killed or injured, or suffer any loss or damage to you or your property, or if you incur any liability.

  5. Our commitment to a welcoming and supportive community

    1. We welcome clients and Fettle & Fit team members from all backgrounds, sexualities, genders and abilities.

    2. We will not tolerate harassment, bullying, verbal or other abuse, or discrimination towards clients, trainers or others who you may come in contact with during training sessions. We reserve the right to decline or end the provision of services if these behaviours occur.

  6. Online sessions and materials are for your personal use only

    1. Online sessions and any exercise materials (such as videos, plans or assessments) available in the client portal are for personal use only. Their availability may change from time to time. Misuse of content for commercial purposes will result in the termination of client login(s) and may result in the conclusion of your training with Fettle & Fit.

    2. Online materials may be provided by third parties and are for your personal use only. You agree that Fettle & Fit trainers are not responsible for examining or evaluating the content or accuracy of the third party material and do not warrant the materials are free from errors and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, will not have any liability or responsibility for any third party material.

  7. Outdoor sessions, locations and changes due to weather conditions

    1. Outdoor locations have been selected for their features, access to public facilities and transport options. However, we may change these locations from time to time (for example, due to public events or works, weather, etc). Your trainer will confirm this directly with you.

    2. If your session must be cancelled due to extreme weather conditions (for example, a hot day over 35 degrees or other weather warnings), you will be able to reschedule to an agreed time at no extra cost.

    3. If you and your trainer agree to change from an outdoor session to an online session due to poor weather conditions (such as mild rain), you will be able to reschedule to an agreed time at no extra cost.

  8. Changing between online/outdoor sessions or outdoor session locations

    1. If you need to switch between an online session and an outdoor session or need to change outdoor locations, please contact your trainer as soon as possible, as it may impact your trainer’s travel requirements and other clients.

    2. We will attempt to accommodate your requests; however, a change in location or between online/outdoor sessions less than 24 hours before your session starts may mean your session will be shortened to accommodate your trainer’s travel requirements and other bookings. The session will finish on time, and you will not be refunded or given credit for the shorter session.

  9. Late arrivals

    1. Please let your trainer know as soon as possible if you may be delayed. Where possible, we will try and accommodate a later end time. However, if your trainer is unable to end your session at a later time, the session will finish on time, and you will not be refunded or given credit for a shorter session time.

    2. If your trainer is delayed, they will give you as much notice as possible.

      1. If you are happy for the session to start and end at a later time, your session will be rescheduled, and no further payment is needed.

      2. If your session is able to go ahead but will be shortened in duration, you will be given credit for a 30-minute session.

      3. If your session is not able to go ahead due to your trainer’s delay, your session will be rescheduled, and no further payment is needed.

  10. 24-hour cancellation policy or no shows

    1. Please let your trainer know as soon as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel a session, or cannot attend a workshop. You can reschedule your booking by SMS to your trainer directly up to 24 hours before your session. No additional fee will be charged for cancellations more than 24 hours before your session.

    2. Your session payment will not be refunded for bookings cancelled less than 24 hours before their starting time, except in special circumstances such as medical conditions or family emergencies AND where rescheduling or transfers are not possible.

    3. The cancellation policy applies to all sessions and workshops.

  11. Refunds and transfers

    1. No refunds are available for completed sessions, packages or workshops for ‘change of mind’.

    2. Refunds are only available for unused sessions where special circumstances such as medical conditions, family emergencies or extreme weather warnings prevented training AND where rescheduling or transfers are not possible.

    3. No refunds are available for unused gift cards, session or package credits. However, these credits may be transferred to another client if agreed to by you, the other client and Fettle & Fit. The credits must be used within the existing timelines for sessions, packages or workshops.

  12. Privacy policy

    1. By using Fettle & Fit’s website or other associated platforms (such as, but not limited to, the client portal, social media and payment systems), you agree to the terms in the Privacy Policy and any third party Privacy Policies (such as social media and payment gateway policies).   13. Wait list

    1. We value our clients and those interested in training with us. We accept wait list requests and enquiries, but unfortunately cannot guarantee availability.

  14. Changes to these Terms and Conditions.

    1. We may revise these Terms and Conditions by updating this page, and the revised Terms and Conditions will take effect when they are posted. We will give you reasonable notice and display upcoming changes in your client portal, on our website and through your communication preferences.
