What personal information do we collect?

We collect information to inform your sessions with Fettle & Fit. This personal information may include: your name and contact information; date of birth; preferred communication methods; bank details and/or credit card details and your objectives and interests. We also create information that becomes part of the personal information we hold about you, such as sessions that you purchase from us. We may also collect and create details on your training partners (for example, for 2:1 sessions).

We also request, collect and store your health and information relevant to your sessions, such as biometric information, medical clearances and exercise assessments.

By using the features of the online portals that we use (such as shared notes, assessments, exercise portals and other), you understand that we may review and collect this information to support your training with us.

Third party programs and platforms (such as our email and booking systems, payment platforms and social media ) have additional collection and privacy terms and conditions that you accept if you choose to use these.

We may also invite you to provide feedback (such as surveys) so we can improve our services.

Why do we collect personal information from you?

We collect health and training data to the extent that it is required to assess your readiness for physical exercise and support your training goals. We may contact you about your sessions or updates to services and products offered by Fettle & Fit. You can manage your communication preferences through your client profile.

We do not provide your information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

Who can access this information?

The Fettle & Fit team can access this information and will only do so in order to support your sessions or purchases.

Some options within the third party client portal enable clients to share information, session packages and payments with family or nominated training partners or other Fettle & Fit clients & trainers. If you choose to use these functions, information (including training, health information and assessments, payment details, etc) may be accessible and visible to others.

We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards in connection with the collection, storage and disclosure of your information. These security processes may mean that we may request proof of identity before we disclose personal information to you.

If you choose to stop training with Fettle & Fit, we will archive and store your information for a minimum of 7 years to meet quality and legal record-keeping requirements; after that time, we will take reasonable steps to de-identify and destroy inactive client records.

Can I have a copy of my information?

Yes. Your client portal provides access to payment and other training information; however, please contact us in writing if you wish to have a copy of personal information we hold. Our security processes may mean that we may request proof of identity before we disclose personal information to you.

What happens if you do not provide this information?

You can always choose not to provide information to us. However, as a result, we may not be able to provide some or all of our services to you without your provision of particular information (for example, but not limited to, medical clearance or emergency contacts).
